Full day summary

Before testimony began, the court rejected the government's proposed summary-witness testimony from Special Agent Michael Buscemi about connections among message-pad exhibits, saying those connections should be addressed in closing argument. The court also discussed a narrowed possible question for Mr. Glassman that could avoid an attorney-client privilege dispute, deferred the Exhibit 52 issue until the government was ready to rest, and addressed timing for the charging conference. FedEx senior paralegal Tracy Chapell then authenticated invoices from Jeffrey E. Epstein's account, and the court admitted three invoices under seal with corresponding public versions. On cross-examination, defense counsel compared other transactions from the account and introduced a defense exhibit under temporary seal pending narrow redactions. The court adjourned after learning that an attorney was ill.
