About

JPMorgan executive director Patrick McHugh authenticated six bank records during direct examination and explained the bank's process for maintaining and comparing them. He read entries concerning wires and transfers tied to accounts associated with Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein, and Air Ghislaine Inc. He had no personal involvement with the accounts or transactions.

Defense counsel used cross-examination to establish limits on what the records showed. McHugh agreed that a June 2007 statement did not identify who approved a transfer, and he could not determine the authority for checks that appeared to bear Harry Beller's signature. He also said he did not know the nature of the transactions and saw no indication of impropriety on the statements themselves.

On redirect, McHugh identified Government Exhibit 507 as a Morgan account signature card and verified that it was on file after comparison with JPMorgan's records. The court admitted the exhibit without objection.
