Virginia Roberts figured in testimony and records concerning Carolyn's introduction to Jeffrey Epstein's Palm Beach house, flights on Epstein's planes, and the Roberts family's connection to Mar-a-Lago. Defense counsel stated in opening that Epstein paid Roberts to recruit women for massages and that she offered Carolyn an opportunity to meet him.

Carolyn testified that Roberts brought her to the Palm Beach house for what Carolyn understood would be a paid massage, with Maxwell present when they entered. Juan Patricio Alessi described seeing Roberts with Maxwell at Mar-a-Lago and later at the Palm Beach residence, while pilots Lawrence Visoski and David Rodgers addressed her travel on Epstein's planes through recollection and flight-log entries. The court also considered proposed Mar-a-Lago employment records, requiring verification of employee-supplied dependent information in one exhibit while allowing another as evidence of the family's connection to Mar-a-Lago during the relevant period.
