Carolyn testified for the government under a pseudonym on Day 7. She said Virginia brought her to Jeffrey Epstein's Palm Beach house when she was 14, that Maxwell greeted them and directed Virginia to show her what to do, and that she later returned more than 100 times.

Carolyn described paid appointments involving sexual conduct and interactions she attributed to Maxwell. She said Maxwell initially arranged appointments, continued scheduling them after learning that Carolyn was 14, and participated in encounters in the massage room.

The government also elicited testimony about Carolyn's drug addiction, prior convictions, an inaccurate answer in a 2009 deposition concerning escort work, her civil settlement, and her estimate of a victim-compensation award. On cross-examination, the defense used her 2007 FBI interview, civil filings, deposition testimony, and compensation-fund materials to question her account of recruitment, dates, drug use, and when Maxwell's name appeared. Carolyn disputed or qualified portions of those materials.

On redirect, Carolyn said she had not written her civil complaint or compensation-fund application and had neither seen nor verified the FBI report. She denied testifying to obtain money. The defense then questioned her on recross about money she received in 2009 and how she used it. Shawn later testified that he had dated Carolyn as a teenager and accompanied her to the Palm Beach house on some occasions.
